Annyeonghaseyo!

The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) will represent Korea at this year's Asian Heritage Festival, CelebrAsian. This two day event will be held May 26-27 at the Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines. The Korean Village will feature three tents to showcase the following:

  • Food: Traditional Korean food & snacks
  • Gifts: Korean-English books & cookbooks, fans, vases, flags, tea sets, items for children & more
  • Culture: Try on a hanbok, snap a photo at our photobooth, enjoy informational displays & more!

KCC needs your help! With your support, we can ensure the Korean community will be well-represented at CelebrAsian, so please sign up for a volunteer shift below! (Did we mention that all volunteers will receive a token of appreciation from the Korean Village as a special thank you? And that you’ll be surrounded by really fun people?)

2016 KCC Annual Meeting

Annyeonghaseyo! The Korean Cultural Center of Iowa (KCC) invites you to our Annual Meeting where we will provide a review of 2016 and where KCC is headed in 2017.

Everyone in attendance will also have the opportunity to vote on our amended Articles of Incorporation and adoption of our proposed new Bylaws. Changes to the Articles and Bylaws include removing membership voting. We’ve found over the years that we have many supporters and participants (thank you!), but not actual members as defined in the Bylaws. These changes better reflect how the KCC operates.

We hope to see you there!
